Mebendazole and its properties

The active ingredient in all VERMOX worm treatment products is mebendazole 100 mg. Mebendazole is an effective and well-tolerated threadworm medication, with studies showing high cure rates of 90% to 100% with a single 100 mg dose. A repeat dose in 2 to 3 weeks is often recommended to ensure the infection is completely eradicated.
